Barson Street Housing Project (Nuevo Sol) Comprised of 13 units of housing for homeless individuals, this project was completed for a local non-profit housing developer. The project included the renovation of 11 existing cottages and the design and construction of two new buildings with two housing units and a manager's unit over a community center with laundry, office and a community meeting area. The site also included the development of a community garden.This project has won an AIA Monterey Bay citation award for design excellence. |

Merrill Road Housing This 15 unit affordable housing project was completed for the Housing Authority of Santa Cruz County. The character of the units took subtle cues from the adjacent victorian farmhouse to fit into the neighborhood context. The clustering of the rental units was designed around a heritage Oak tree and includes a community outdoor/play area. It is considered one of the one of the most successful examples of affordable housing in Santa Cruz County. |

Blackie's Orchard Cottage Apartments This multifamily apartment complex includes new construction of four rental cottages. The original historic house remains adjacent to the new cottages. |
