We love the house! We are very happy with it.  We are continuously amazed by the level of craft and carefullnes you all put into your work. It really shows and is a very rare thing to find these days. We are sure glad we found you all!

Thank you so very much,

Fico and Kristen

I just wanted to send you a note to tell you how much we still love our house and also to tell you that people are still stopping by and showering us with compliments. They also stop by to ask about the paint color (I've give out all my extra paint chips), the roof, the garden etc. One neighbor recently thanked us for not building a house that belongs in Aptos and that she was thankful we kept to the scale and style of the neighborhood. I'd still like more closets, but there's nothing else I'd give up so that's just the way it is. It does keep me pared down for sure.

Thanks again for all you did to make this work out so well.

Amazing to work with - from concept to completion! Jacquie Low and her staff were outstanding! We love our new home and the green components that Boone Low Ratliff Architects incorporated into the design.  We also thank Joan Cole for monitoring our project costs and keeping on budget.  Thank you, Boone Low Ratliff!

Jacquelyn Low has passed the rigorous international exam to become a Certified Passive House Designer. She took the international passive house training course from the smashing Passive House Academy staff fall 2011. "I am thrilled to have passed this exam. It is excellent training and I'm a greener Architect having achieved the certification."

The Live Oak Resource Center has been awarded a LEED Platinum rating, a first in Santa Cruz County. This building is also the 10,000th project to receive LEED certification in the United States, a significant milestone for the U.S. Green Building Council.

"This award affirms Boone Low Ratliff Architects' long-standing commitment to creating sustainable architecture. We are grateful to the County of Santa Cruz, the clients and staff of the Live Oak Resource Center, and the talented members of our project team for partnering with us to achieve this goal."
